Last week, during a brutal heatwave, we had the great pleasure to have a new PhD graduation from our lab!
Hien defended her thesis from the questions of her two examiners,
Caroline Wendling and
Marius Vital.
Hien did a great job, and has a result she did not need to make any changes to her dissertation.
Fun fact: while Hien was defending her thesis, her long-running experiment in our Chi.Bio bioreactors was still running
in a very warm lab. Such are the joys of automated laboratory evolution!
